Opening up the vistas of the universe.

And bringing the universe down to the level of the common man.

Here we will look at two questions.

Of which some have defined as the really big questions.

What is the ultimate reality? And what is time?

You will be allowed to offer your input on this matter. And if your view of it all is different than mine. That is ok. You see, when we are face to face between two opinions. Where both contrast. Then between the two, we might see better. We might realize the answer.

The ultimate reality might, in some peoples view, be the reality of a higher being in the universe. Though that reality would better be classified as the reality of existence and being beyond the physical reality. And I consider myself a spiritual and hence religious man. However, the spiritual reality is within our inward being and spirit. Just as the scriptures tell us, that the kingdom is within us. Here we are looking at the reality of this universe that we are experiencing here. And we want to look at the universe and it's reality. And offer up a view thereof that explains everything physical and fundamental, well as far as possible.

In considering the question of what is the ultimate reality and what is time. In looking at both topics. Both deal with the physical realities and hence with physics for the most part. And if we can grasp a view of the universe from the physics point of view. Where we can understand in simple terms. The views of the Special and General Theories of Relativity. Then we can begin to explain these two questions. But we will have to dispense with theories such as that of worm holes and folding space and time to do so. Though we will from time to time offer up theories about such. And we will look at those things. But not initially.

In addition, such exotic topics as to whether space aliens exist or not. And as to what ufo's are. Are not part of this discussion. However if there is life elsewhere in this universe. We can say something about it here and now. Such life elsewhere will exist and operate by reason of the well known physics of life. And so, we would expect it to be carbon based rather than the theorized silicon based form of life. Since it is much easier for carbon based life to exist than the theoretical silicon based type. Hence there can not exist an exotic form of life in the universe that does not operate, that is, who's biology does not operate via the chemistry of life that we understand. Though many of us believe that life has a spiritual reality. And so, we would not have to explain spiritual life. Which is a matter of the faith of us all.

Our pursuit of the two core questions of Project Starlight is one that requires a sober mind. Set apart from wild theories and exotic topic discussions. Since we must ponder and attempt to answer, the core questions. And not be distracted by those other, somewhat exotic topics, that some find so entertaining.

As we go along here over time, we will coin some things and offer up some definitions. And so, do our best to reduce down, which means to distill down. The workings of the universe. So that anyone can understand them in basic fundamental terms. Herein, we will offer up our views derived from a lifetime of pondering and wondering about how the universe at large works. And if possible, we will try to explain the universe in a nut shell. If possible? We shall see.
